Some of life's best memories aren't made when you arrive at your destination—they're made along the journey.

That's exactly what inspired us to create the Timber Valley Trailblazer, one of the signature experiences at Timber Valley Farm Barn Rental in beautiful Clear Spring, Maryland.

The Trailblazer is much more than a wagon ride. It's an opportunity to slow down, reconnect with family and friends, and experience the peaceful beauty of western Maryland together.

Your journey travels scenic country roads through the historic Villages of Ash and Charlton, crosses Toms Run and the Little Conococheague Creek at the historic Hump Bridge, and continues beneath one of the most beautiful tree canopies in the region along Dam #5 Road. Along the way you'll enjoy breathtaking countryside, the historic C&O Canal, the Potomac River, and opportunities to spot wildlife including deer, great blue herons, hawks, turtles, colorful songbirds, and even bald eagles.

One optional stop many guests enjoy is the Billy Goat Farmstand, where locally made treats, fresh produce, sourdough bread, and refreshing summer slushies offer another reason to appreciate the small businesses that make our community special.

One of our favorite moments comes after the ride ends.

Guests often spend time meeting Joey, Ivy, Clover, Georgia, Sugar, and Ruby—our six friendly Trailblazer Girls. Watching families laugh, pet the dogs, and continue making memories reminds Karen and me why we created this experience in the first place.

As a family-owned and family-operated venue, our goal has always been to offer more than a beautiful place to celebrate. We want every guest to leave with stories they'll tell for years to come.
